The blog begins

As the weather began to warm this Spring, Nate, now 7, got out his jar, his table and his chair - determined to raise money to send bibles to other countries. Unfortunately, the neighborhood kids have already been asked :o) so we began to look outside the normal box of funraising (not my particular forte) to see what else could be done to help Nate make his dream come true of filling his jar.

He raised money all last Fall and currently, his jar is about 1/3 of the way full - and although so thankful, when asked if he was ready to mail in our money to 'Bibles Unbound' ministries - Nate wanted to wait and get his jar full first.

On our end, I am calling various fundraising opportunites in the next week or so in order to see what else is available for Nate (who is currently trying to sell his toys and trinkets to make money for bibles - something he obviously is soo passionate about), (here is trying to sell his trinkets from his gum ball dispenser he filled with his things)

and then a God idea came to begin a blog. Not my normal scope of a blog on family or fun topics, but a blog on Nate's heart of raising money for bibles and to see if anyone else wanted to help with the cause.

You hear all the time of kids who made a big difference in the world even though they are young, so who knows what God has in store for Nate. His desire has continued, he has spent much of his time and is exciting about me checking in with other fundraising things we can possibly sell, and I know God did that for a reason.

So, here I am, the homeschool Mom of an amazing 7 year old with a world vision who knows that:
In China, 47,905 people are waiting for bibles
In India 10, 245 people are waiting for bibles,
In Nepal 6, 635 people are waiting for bibles and the list goes on.
For more information about this ministry we've linked with to help, go to http://www.biblesunbound.com/. A ministry of Voice of the Martyrs, and been around for years, there is a great need to send bibles to soo many - especially those having to worship in secret and hiding.
Thank you for reading, for any notes you want to write for Nate of encouragement, and for ultimately, helping by giving through paypal so Nate can fill his jar and more and send many many bibles on their way. Please note - all giving will go 100% to Bibles Unbound or feel free to sign up to sponser their monthly giving on their website - but please let us know so Nate can keep record.

Thank you and may God richly bless you!
